Personal Profile

My orgins take me back to my birth place located on the banks of the bride of the Mediterranean. Alexandria is an ancient Greek City first founded by the Greek Alexander the great. Although most of the Greek community left during the Nasser regime there are still many remnants of their influence in and around the city. We left Egypt during my first year of life.

Onwards it was to the emerald isle where we spent another with my dad trying in vain to find gainful employment. However, fate took its course and we were again on the road again this time for Canada, a land of opportunity. My dad went on ahead of us so as to prepares matters on the homefront. My pregnant mother expecting Yussef at the time and I sailed from the Port of Cobh in county Cork all the way over across the Atlantic to the shores of Montreal.

The journey was not to end there though as we had been assingned to Winnipeg so off it was on the train to finally meet up with dad. It was there in the province of Manitoba that it all started as it is in that province that we settled in Canada.

In the following blogs I am going to talk about global warming for my project this semester. I hope you all will enjoy this experience with me.
